Alsatia Park shade sail update

The project team have investigated the additional shade options for Alsatia Park and decided on a shade sail that is suitable for this location.

Options have been scoped and are currently being taken to market for competitive pricing.

Subject to the assessment of quotes and supplier lead times, we anticipate works commencing in the new financial year during the drier months.

A more defined timeframe will be confirmed once the quoting process is complete.

Council will continue to update the Connecting Mackay project page as more information is available.
