The Mackay community have long supported the Anzac Day parade - a time when our community gathers in the city centre to pay tribute to those who served our country.

While the COVID-19 crisis may have cancelled our traditional services, we still are able to pay our respects.

We have produced a special Anzac Day commemorative video featuring local residents honouring our brave war heroes. Please join us in one minute of silence at the end of this video. Also, share your family's Anzac stories below and help us thank a veteran for their service to our country.

🙏 Lest we forget.

Mackay Christian College created their own poppy field!

by Tish Scholtz, 5 months ago

Our MCC student participated in activities, making poppies and a handprint wreath. Think this is the best ANZAC memorial MCC have ever done. We created our own poppy field!
