Asphalt resurfacing works 2025-2026

Contractor Downer, on behalf of council, has completed asphalt resurfacing works in the Mackay region.

The works were needed to rejuvenate road surfaces and improve road conditions.

The following roads and roundabouts were asphalted and line marked:

• Farrellys Road in Paget.

• Nelson Street in Mackay.

• Victoria and Wellington streets roundabout in Mackay.

• Victoria and Tennyson streets roundabout in Mackay.

• Shakespeare Street from Hague Street to Creal Street in East Mackay.

• Nicklin and Celeber Drive in Beaconsfield.
