Bluewater Lagoon Leisure Refurbishment

The Bluewater Lagoon Leisure Refurbishment is completed and open to the public to enjoy.

The works were funded by the Queensland Government’s Works for Queensland (WAQ) program and Mackay Regional Council.

The works included:

• Replacing the softfall surface at the children’s play area
• Replacing the interactive play equipment, so children of all abilities could use
• Refurbishment of the blue water slide.

The upgrade will ensure the facility remains modern and attractive to patrons, and the play unit is one height to accommodate children of all ages and abilities.

This Works for Queensland project is delivering jobs for regional Queensland and funded by the Queensland Government.
