Camilleri Street District Park upgrades to begin in July

Exciting changes are coming to Camilleri Street District Park!

From July 18, 2025, contractor Vassallo Constructions will begin the next stage of park improvements to increase access and connectivity to the park’s facilities.

Here’s what’s coming:

• A new formal entry off Camilleri Street (northwest side).
• A concrete perimeter pathway linking to the existing Youth Hub, Cross Gully Walk, and the playground’s pathway.
• More shade trees and seating.

Work will take place between 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday and Saturdays between 7am to 5pm (as required).

Some areas will be fenced off during construction for the public’s safety, however, you’ll still have access to the playground, barbeque area, toilets, dog park, and Youth Hub via Camilleri Street.

Some noise and dust disturbances are expected with various plant and equipment on site.

Completion is expected by late October 2025, weather permitting.
