Camilleri Street District Park set to receive accessibility upgrades from Stage 3 of the Master Plan!

Vassallo Constructions has been awarded the tender to complete Camilleri Street District Park’s pathway upgrades. The upgrades are based on the Master Plan which was finalised after extensive community consultation between 2017-2018.

Stages one and two of the park were constructed in 2019 and included a Youth Hub, fully fenced dog park, public toilets, connecting footpaths and a picnic node.

Upcoming construction will include:

• Formalised entry off Camilleri Street (on the northwestern side of the park).
• Concrete footpath around the outskirts of the park. It will connect the new entry to the Youth Hub and extend to connect to the playground’s existing access.
• Planting additional shade trees and installing seating alongside the new footpaths.
• Micromesh elevated boardwalk to the new entry.
