Council gives green light for stage one works
The Pioneer Valley Mountain Bike trails project has clicked up a gear!
At today's ordinary meeting, council approved a development application for stage one of the mountain bike park.
The material change of use application was lodged by council via Veris Pty Ltd. It includes 13km of trails and a purpose-built trailhead, with direct frontage to Anzac Parade.
The trailhead will include entry statements, picnic areas with shelters, amenity blocks, pump track, bike wash and open recreational space.
The 13km of trails will be varying degrees of difficulty from beginner to advanced.
Stage one is expected to be open by Christmas this year.
