Glenella-Richmond Road guardrail works

Contractor Pentacon Pty Ltd will be undertaking works on council’s behalf at Glenella–Richmond Road, Glenella.

The works will involve the construction of a sidetrack, pavement replacement, installation of steel beam guardrails, placement of regulatory and hazard signage, and associated landscaping along Glenella–Richmond Road. Please refer to the works area map in the Map section.

Works are scheduled to commence on Monday, July 6, weather permitting, and are expected to take approximately six weeks to complete. Work hours will be Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 6.30pm, with Saturday work where required.

During the works, traffic control will be in place, including single lane access with alternating traffic flow where required. Outside of work hours, two-lane traffic will be maintained, with reduced speed limits in place.

There may be some noise and dust associated with these works due to the operation of construction plant and equipment.
