Consultation has concluded

Permanent traffic changes have being made to Grendon Street in North Mackay.

These changes will improve pedestrian safety and traffic flow in the area.

A handful of car parks have been converted into a turning lane for queuing school traffic at set times of the day.

The turning lane is in operation from 8am to 9am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Some car parks have been permanently removed to allow for the installation of a pedestrian refuge island.
