Council is renewing the water mains in Kippen Street, between Juliet and Lamb streets, to improve the reliability of the water service in the area.

Work will take place from Sunday, May 31, 2026 and is expected to be completed by late August, 2026.

The works will occur from Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 4.30pm, and weekends as required.

Please ensure vehicles are not parked on the street or nature strip in the area of works between 7am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Traffic impacts:

  • Single lane traffic in the work area from 6am to 6pm.
  • 40km/hr speed limit.

Some minor noise and dust disturbances are expected with these works.

Access to Harrup Park and the tennis courts will remain open.

Water disruptions will occur when new mains are connected and driveway accesses may be temporarily impacted. Affected residents will be notified prior to planned works.
