Mackay Fishing Strategy
Mackay Regional Council has commenced preparations on the Mackay Region Recreational Fishing Strategy.
Council is pleased to release the Draft Mackay Region Recreational Fishing Strategy 2017-2022 for public review.
This Strategy sets a framework for the sustainable management and development of the Mackay region’s recreational fishing sector and provides a plan for maximising economic benefits and opportunities.
We would love to hear whether you support the actions and priorities that have been identified to achieve this vision. Alternatively, do you have any other actions or initiatives that the Strategy does not address?
The consultation period will close on Monday 5th June 2017. Thank you for your participation.
