McEwens Beach Road culvert approach widening

Mackay Regional Council wishes to advise works are being undertaken at McEwens Beach Road, McEwens Beach, beginning on Monday, June 8.

The project is expected to be completed within four weeks, weather permitting.

Work hours are from 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

The works will include widening a section of road pavement on McEwens Beach Road to improve road safety.

Traffic control will be in place throughout the works, with traffic reduced to a single lane through the impacted area for the duration of the project, including outside of work hours where required for safety. Minor travel time delays are expected.

There will be some noise and dust disturbances with various plant and equipment on site.
