Catalyst Project for Eungella

Council is pleased to announce an upgrade of North Street Park, Eungella and we hope that you are too!!

The initial stage (Stage 1) of the project, estimated to cost $360,000, will be funded under the State Government’s Works For Queensland Program.

The improvements range from a new entry statement at the park, to a new car park off North Street. Each of the improvements planned will make the nearby Goodes Lookout more visible and easier to access. The Wirri sculpture is also planned to be a feature of the lookout to pay tribute to the traditional owners. The existing cricket oval will be retained but upgraded as the “Eungella Commons”, with pathways, memorial tree plantings and picnic shelter with BBQ facilities.
