Project update: Stage 2 of the Oak Street upgrade project is completed.

The Oak Street upgrade project is being undertaken in three stages. The first stage was completed during 2023 and involved stormwater relining.

As part of Stage 2, underground drainage works were undertaken. Works began in August 2025 and were completed late November 2025. Please refer to map below.

Stage 3, the final stage of the Oak Street upgrade project, is expected to commence during the second half of 2026. At this time, council will undertake pavement rehabilitation works, including kerb replacement, to improve the road’s surface.
