Contractor Gen White on behalf of Council, will be commencing culvert rehabilitation works at Owens Creek Loop Road in Owens Creek from late-September.
The work is necessary to help reduce flooding in the area and create a safer roadway.
Work will be undertaken from 6.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and some weekend work may be required.
Traffic management will be in place during active construction works. Owens Creek Loop Road will operate under single-lane stop/go traffic control, with traffic controllers directing vehicles through the work area.
Motorists may experience short delays, reduced speed limits and changed traffic conditions.
The works are expected to be completed by mid-October, weather permitting.
