Council's Field Services crew will be replacing stormwater infrastructure at the intersection of Paget and Thorning streets in West Mackay from early-April.

The works are needed to improve drainage in the area.

The crew will be working from 6.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and on weekends if required.

The works are expected to be completed by mid-May, weather permitting.

Please note, because of these works, the Paget and Thorning streets intersection will be closed for the duration of the works with local traffic access only.

Detour signs will be placed around surrounding streets. Please adhere to all roadside signage and instructions.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your patience during these essential works.
