Patch Street and Cyril McKie Court Pavement Rehabilitation Project

Those travelling along Patch Street and Cyril McKie Court, Sarina, will soon have a smoother ride.

Council has awarded the Patch Street and Cyril McKie Court Pavement Rehabilitation project to contractor Shadforth Civil.

The works are expected to start in early-February, 2021, and be completed by June 2021, weather permitting.

The works include demolition, clearing, earthworks, storm water, electrical conduiting and the reconstruction of the road pavement to accommodate heavy vehicle traffic.

These works will be done in six stages, to allow continued access into businesses.

Traffic control will be in place for the duration of the project.

This project is funded by Mackay Regional Council and the Australian Government’s Roads to Recovery Program. The Australian Government’s Roads to Recovery Program have contributed $207,306 towards this project.
