The beautiful bushland of Woodlands Reserve, along with the adjoining council reserves and park areas, provides a unique opportunity for amalgamation. This amalgamation will allow council to create the new Woodlands District Park, spanning 21-hectares, in the Beaconsfield/Andergrove area.

Council is planning to upgrade Woodlands District Park and have it be a sought-after destination for
leisure and social activities. The picturesque natural environment will continue to be protected.

This expansive site boasts open green spaces, beautiful bushland, playground facilities, paths to run, walk and cycle and a lake with Barramundi.

We are currently developing a long-term master plan for this project. Council has consulted with the community to hear your thoughts on what elements and activities you would like included in the park. The draft master plan will be available for public comment.
