Council has replaced the existing water main on Alfred Street between Wellington to Peel streets.

The works were undertaken to replace aged infrastructure and to ensure the optimal reliability of council’s water network.

    After-hours water supply interruptions

    Residents and businesses of Alfred Street from Nelson to Peel streets and Wellington Street from Gordon to Shakespeare streets will experience water interruptions from 9pm on Tuesday, December 10, until 5am on Wednesday, December 11, weather permitting.

    The interruption is necessary to continue works associated with the water main upgrade.

    Residents can contact the Site Supervisor Construction for concerns regarding these works by calling the number provided in letters to residents or by visiting the site office.

    Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and we thank you for your patience during these essential works.
