Council is excited to announce that Stage 1 of the Brooksfield Drive Park upgrade is now complete!

In 2019, council partnered with the local Progress Association to progress residents’ long-standing request to have a half court installed in replacement of the aged play equipment. A concept for the park’s improvement was then released for public comment in June 2019.

Stage 1 of the park’s upgrade included installation of a new half multi-sports court and contemporary fencing. Improvements were also made to the existing picnic shelter.

The new court facilities complement the children’s playground at Owen Jenkins Drive Park and caters to the interests of older children and teenagers.

Stage 2 of the Brooksfield Drive Park upgrade will be undertaken as future works. More information can be found in the PDF document listed on the right hand side of the page.
