Project update #1 – August 2025

Contractor Downer will be undertaking night works on Oak Street, Andergrove, on council’s behalf, as part of stage two of the Oak Street upgrade.

These works will ensure a minimised impact to road users and ensure continued road safety during the remaining works.

Night works will take place from Monday, August 18, to Tuesday, August 19, between 6pm to 5am, weather permitting, in addition to the planned day works.

Single lane traffic will be in place from Flametree Street to Manzelmann Street, with reduced speed zones and traffic control.

Some on-street parking may be unavailable near the area of works during work hours.

Night works will also take place in September. Impacted residents will be notified before work commences.

There will be some noise and dust disturbances with various plant and equipment on-site.
