Oak Street upgrade - Stage 3

Contractor Vassallo Construction Pty Ltd has completed the final stage of the Oak Street upgrade two months ahead of schedule.

Stage 3 included pavement rehabilitation works, footpath works and kerb replacement works, to improve the road surface and safety.

“We heard loud and clear that this section of Oak Street wasn't up to scratch,” Mayor Greg Williamson said.

The first stage of the upgrade was completed in 2023 and involved stormwater relining work and the second stage was completed last year and included underground drainage work.

Council would like to thank the community for their cooperation and support during these important upgrades.

and they were due to be completed in including kerb replacement, and works are expected to begin on Monday, June 8, weather permitting. These works are expected to be completed by early November 2026.

Asphalt resurfacing works

From Sunday, August 2 to Thursday, August 13, Vassallo Constructions will be undertaking asphalt resurfacing works on Oak Street, between Central Drive and Andergrove Road in Andergrove.

The works will be completed at night and in two stages to minimise impacts to surrounding residents and businesses.

Stage 1 works, from Andergrove Road to just past Campbell Street , will be undertaken from Sunday, August 2 to Thursday, August 6.

Stage 2 works, from just past Samuel Court to Celeber Drive, will be undertaken from Sunday, August 9 to Thursday August 13.

From Sunday, August 2 to Thursday, August 13, Vassallo Constructions will be undertaking asphalt resurfacing works on Oak Street, between Central Drive and Andergrove Road in Andergrove.
The works will be completed at night and in two stages to minimise impacts to surrounding residents and businesses.
Stage 1 works, from Andergrove Road to just past Campbell Street , will be undertaken from Sunday, August 2 to Thursday, August 6.
Stage 2 works, from just past Samuel Court to Celeber Drive, will be undertaken from Sunday, August 9 to Thursday August 13.
Each section of the road will be closed from 8pm to 5am to complete the works with local traffic only.
Traffic controllers will be on site to assist motorists and pedestrians where required.
These works are subject to weather permitting.
