Community consultation at the Mackay Show 2018 made use of wooden building blocks to explore built form outcomes and opportunities in a range of locations across the PDA. Block scenarios shown in all images are the result of open discussion with the community to test built form outcomes and explore potential opportunities on lesser-used areas of public land. Whilst community feedback on potential opportunities was generally positive, council does not view this as a blanket endorsement of any development in these areas, with further investigation and community consultation required. The scenarios shown do not represent proposed or approved plans for development, or council policy.
