Council is calling on Seaforth residents to have their say on the updated Seaforth Esplanade Master Plan.

The master plan was adopted by council in 2020 and following the construction of the new Recreational Hub and Coastal Walk, the wants and needs of the community have changed.

  • The Seaforth RSL have outgrown ANZAC Memorial Park and would like a dedicated 'Place of Remembrance' at the beachfront.
  • ANZAC Memorial Park, located across the road from the general store and post office, could be transformed into a Community Hub for community events and outdoor dining.
  • Continued improvements are needed within the Seaforth Camping Reserve to ensure the facility continues to attract visitors.

The updated Seaforth Esplanade Master Plan is available to view here. You can also view it at the Seaforth Bowls Club and the Mackay Customer Service Centre.
