Project update: October 1, 2026

Thank you for your patience as we continue essential stormwater rehabilitation works on Shakespeare Street.

With Stage 1 complete and Stage 2 nearing completion, new access pits, like the one pictured, have now been installed to make future maintenance and inspections safer and more efficient.

The crew will finish refurbishing the deteriorated line near Moore St next week, with Stage 2 works expected to be finished by October 14, weather permitting.

Due to overseas shipping delays, Stage 3 has been slightly delayed. The final stage of works is expected to take up to two weeks to complete once materials arrive. Further updates will be provided soon.
