Update #1 - April 5, 2022

The reconstruction of the Warland Street open drain between Paradise Street and Warland Street and Warland Street to Milton Street will continue until early-June, 2022.

The project has been delayed by wet weather events.

Stage 1 works - Completed. Vegetation and debris removed from the drain.

Stage 2 works - Approximately 85 per cent completed. Remaining works include ramps, retaining wall, fencing and landscaping. To be completed early-May, 2022, weather permitting.

Stage 3 works - Approximately 30 per cent completed. Remaining woks include concreting the open drain. To be completed by early-June, 2022, weather permitting.

Work hours will remain the same - Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 6.30pm and Saturday, 7am to 4pm.

Please note during construction residents will not be able to access the drainage reserve, and traffic control will be in place on Paradise, Warland and Milton streets. Please adhere to all signage and instructions.

If your fence is being replaced as part of this project, the contractor will door-knock you prior to these works commencing.
